COVID-19 anthology
Submissions have closed. Publication underway.
In the midst of the current global pandemic COVID-19 or Coronavirus, we have received many poems confronting the situation. Poetry in which the poets express their anxieties, confusions, fears, hopes, and daily realities.
After careful consideration, our editors have decided to open submissions for a special edition anthology. We do hope to examine our reality with the perspective of poets experiencing this from around the world. We hope that this provides an avenue for our poets to engage with the issues we are facing and build a document of first hand testaments which we can carry with us into the future.
We are looking for poetry and prose that engages with any aspect of the COVID-19 situation: political, personal, media, family, shopping, self care, food, routine, isolation, community, worries and hopes. We are looking for perspectives that are honest and that speak to personal experiences. All forms of poetry and prose will be considered.
Submissions are free. There will be no minimum or maximum length and unlimited submissions. All submissions must be original and previously unpublished. A staff member will contact you if your work is chosen for publication.
We will be accepting submissions until the WHO indicates that the Coronavirus has reached post pandemic period.
